The arch of Trajan at Benevento (Benevneto) was dedicated in AD 114 and celebrates the emperor's achievements for the empire. It marks the beginning of the Via Traiana which led to Brindisi (Brundisium).

Benevento is about 230 Km far from Rome, 80 Km far from Naples and 220 Km far from Bari.
