INGREDIENTS: |
|
| |
- 5 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 1/2 cups finely ground unblanched almonds
- 1/3 matza meal
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 ground cloves
- 2 tbs. grated orange rind (scrub real well to remove scales).

INSTRUCTIONS: |

| |
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Lightly apply a small coating of walnut oil to a 9 inch
spring-form cake pan
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together.
- Fold in the ground almonds, matza meal, cinnamon, cloves and
orange rind.
- Pour into prepared cake pan and bake in preheated oven for 50
minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in pan
- Loosen around the edges with spatula and remove from pan.
- Cut into wedges.
- Serve.
