INGREDIENTS: |
- 2 large bottles wine herring
- 4 carrots
- 4 ribs celery
- 4 large green peppers
- 4 large red peppers
- 3 large sweet white onions
- ⅔ cup white vinegar
- Water, as needed
- Sugar, to taste
- 3 containers of Pareve sour

DIRECTIONS: |
- Drain herring. Cut into small pieces and
set in a bowl.
- Clean and julienne the carrots, celery
and peppers (cut into very fine strips 3 inches long).
- Slice onion very thin.
- Add vegetables to herring.
- Mix vinegar, water and sugar to get a
sweet-sour taste you like.
- Pour over fish and vegetable mixture and
blend.
- Lastly, add the Pareve sour cream and set
aside until the flavors blend.
- Serves 6
