TZVI'S TOMATO & BREAD (PARVE)

INGREDIENTS: |

A loaf of bread cut
into slices
-
ELEA Extra Virgin Olive Oil
-
4 tomatoes, ripe and juicy
-
Sea salt
-
garlic
|
INSTRUCTIONS: |

Toast the bread on both sides
over an open fire or on a barbecue, making sure
that it does not burn.

Once the bread is toasted,
peel a clove of garlic and rub it over the toast,
so the bread takes on its flavour and aroma.

Cut the tomato in half and rub
it over the bread until the toast is covered with
tomato.
-
Drizzle ELEA Extra Virgin
Olive Oil over the toast and add salt.
-
It is now ready to serve
CHEF'S
NOTES: You could rub tomato on both sides
of the bread, but the normal thing is only on one side. It
is generally served with an omelet, cheese or can be
used to make any type of cold or hot sandwich.
