In 1987
the Nidhei Israel synagogue was rededicated and the old Jewish cemetery,
containing some of the oldest Jewish graves on the American continent,
was restored for use. Barbadan postage stamp
commemorating the 1987 rededication of the synagogue in Bridgetown,
built in 1654. |
