FRAN’S PAN CON AJO Y TOMATE

Tapas Bread with Garlic & Tomato
|

INGREDIENTS: |
|
·
4 Italian Bread Long Rolls, cut in half, toasted *KOSHER*
·
1 Garlic Clove, large (+ for garlic lovers)
·
1 Tomato, medium, ripe
·
¼ - ½ tsp. Olive Oil, Extra Virgin *KOSHER*
(Spanish)
·
Black Pepper, freshly ground, to taste
·
Sea Salt, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:
|
1.
Toast the bread in a toaster or a
frying pan until it is crisp and golden brown.
2.
Cut the garlic clove in half.
3.
Put the cut surface on the bread.
4.
Rub a few times over the length of
each slice of toasted bread.
5.
Cut the tomato in half and rub it
thoroughly into each slice of bread, making sure
that the juice of the tomato penetrates the surface
of the bread.
6.
Sprinkle some olive oil over the
rolls.
7.
Add freshly ground black pepper and
salt - to taste.
