David
Frankfurter is a corporate executive, business consultant and
writer, who lives in Ra'anana, Israel. David is a CPA, with a
business degree from the University of New South Wales. His
interest in finance and business is often reflected in his
writings and analysis of the financial aspects of diplomacy and
terrorism in the Middle East in general and the Palestinian
Authority in particular. It is that expertise that led to an
invitation to be a contributing expert to the Terror
Finance Blog - a resource for legislative staff, government
officials, policy makers and researchers who need intelligent and
relevant analysis of issues relating to terrorist financing.
David's
writing has appeared in many print and on-line publications,
including the Scotsman, the British Church Newspaper, the Sprout,
Israel Insider, Frontpage Magazine and others. At the start of
the 'Arafat War' in October 2000, David started sending an
occasional Letter from Israel to his friends and family. Only
adding people by request (to David.Frankfurter@iname.com),
his occasional letters now reach many thousands of people. David
writes about the Middle East from an Israeli perspective. Well
informed, he often shares unusual insights into the news and affairs
of the day. In his writing, David also occasionally shares his
experiences in Israel as a parent and grandparent. Much
