EVA’s GREEN BEANS LEBANESE (LOUBIA B’ZEIT)
INGREDIENTS: |
· 2.2 lb. of Green Beans, fresh, trimmed or frozen (fine green beans) · 1.32 lb. Tomatoes, ripe & diced /or 2 cans of crushed tomatoes · 3 Onions, chopped (check for infestation) · 4 Cloves Garlic, crushed · 4 Tbs. Olive Oil · 2 Tbs. Lemon Juice · Salt - to taste · Pepper – to taste

INSTRUCTIONS: |
1. Heat olive oil in a frying pan. 2. Add onions and fry till soft. 3. Add garlic and green beans. 4. Keep frying on low heat for ~15 minutes, or till the beans started to wilt. 5. Add the tomatoes, lemon juice, salt and pepper. 6. Cover and cook on low heat for ~45 minutes. 7. Serve cold or warm. 8. Eat with Pita bread. |
