BAKED ACORN SQUASH (ROSH HASHANAH)

INGREDIENTS:
|
1
medium-sized acorn squash
2 tablespoons "PARVE" margarine (1/4 stick)
2 tablespoons brown sugar
|
|
DIRECTIONS:
|
- Preheat
oven to 350°F.
- Grease
small baking pan.
- Cut
squash lengthwise in half; remove seeds.
- Place
halves, cut side down, in baking pan, bake 30 minutes.
- Turn
squash cut side up.
- Place
half of margarine and brown sugar in each cavity.
- Bake
15 minutes longer or until squash is fork-tender and margarine and
sugar melts.
