MAP OF HAITI מפת האיטי

Update by Rabbi Douglas Lapin, December 21, 2014:

"There are few or no Jews in Haiti. There are a sprinkling of itinerant Jews who work for the U.N. or the U.S. Embassy and myself and my son.

Kosher food in Haiti: " Haiti has abundant fruits, vegetables and fish, all very inexpensive so keeping kosher here is not that great a challenge.

The supermarkets carry American and French kosher products, although they are very expensive.

We bring in meat and cheese from either Santo Domingo, New York or  Miami."

Open invitation to anyone passing through.
