(JTA) - Nazi flag hung near Brazilian synagogue
September 21, 2004
A Nazi flag with anti-Semitic slurs on it was hung near a
synagogue in Brazil. The red flag, featuring a swastika, was
placed in front of the Sociedade Cultural Beneficente Israelita de
Erechim synagogue on the night of Sept. 14. The words "I will
kill Jews" and "Glory to the Third Reich" were
written on the flag in English. Police removed the flag and are
investigating the incident. |
